The matting & behavior fee
Some grooms carry an added fee for heavy matting or difficult behavior, assessed in person when your dog arrives. It reflects the real time and care a harder groom takes, and is assessed honestly on the day of arrival.
Holding & pickup
A fee applies if your dog is held for an extended time after their groom is finished, since holding your dog isn’t the same as daycare and takes up time and space meant for the next appointment. That said, communication goes a long way here, a respectful heads-up that you’ll be running late is genuinely appreciated and may waive that fee entirely.
